Here's what people want to talk about at ND27

Hey there,

Round one of session proposals for ND27 closes later today, and I wanted to show you some of what's come in. Consider this a reminder to submit something if you've been thinking about it! 🙂

Nearly every session at ND27 is led by someone in this community — people who know something useful and are willing to stand up and share it. Here's a small sample from round one.

(Note: these are just the titles of a few sessions; once we move to the community voting round, you'll be able to see much more info about all of them, including the session leader and what you'll learn from each one.)

  • If the Buddha had ADHD — what meditation might look like if it had been built by people who concentrate differently
  • Sensitive AF — ADHD, rejection sensitive dysphoria, and the art of not shame-spiraling
  • Was It Me? A Late-Diagnosed CEO on the Rules No One Wrote Down — 37 years in leadership before an autism diagnosis at 55
  • Design for the Brain You Have — why you can do something easily one day and not the next
  • Health Habits for the Demand Avoidant — working WITH your "I don't wannas"
  • Why SMART Goals Suck for ADHD Brains—and What to Do Instead
  • Built for Connection — redefining leadership around neurodivergent strengths instead of accommodations
  • Why Didn't You Ask for Help? The Hidden Work of Self-Advocacy
  • Feedback Without the Freakout — a better way to give, get, and ask for feedback
  • "Barely" Is a Place You Can Build From — on working inside uncertainty when the ground doesn't settle

We're planning more than 80 sessions next year, and yes—there's room for more!

First-round voting starts next week. Shortlisted proposals go on a public ballot and attendees vote for what they want to see. Voting is one input, not the whole decision: our team also weighs topic balance, different kinds of sessions, overall representation, and room for new voices.

If you've been sitting on an idea, today is the deadline for round one.

And if you've already sent one in: you're all set. We'll be sending more info soon. 🙂

Yours in the revolution,

Chris & the ND Team

Early-bird registration for ND27 closes on Friday, October 16 (or sooner if we sell out). Hey there, A month before our first event in 2025, a reader wrote to ask whether they should come. Here's what they said: “ I'm a bit older than what I imagine as your typical reader, and I'm also not sure I'm 'neurodivergent', although I've certainly been wondering lately, especially after reading about adult ADHD. Do you think this is something I should come to? That note made me realize I'd been...

Hey there, Here's something two years of NeuroDiversion has taught us: the sessions people talk about afterward almost never come from booking agents or professional speakers. They come from someone in this community who knew something useful and was willing to stand up and share it. So now we're asking directly. Propose a Session We expect to host more than 80 sessions at ND27, and most will be led by attendees. Sessions are a major part of the whole event. Note: sessions don't have to be...
