ND27 Will Start and End One Day Earlier 🐰

Hey there,

A quick update on ND27 dates: we're moving the whole event one day earlier.

New schedule: Wednesday, March 24 – Saturday, March 27, 2027​
(Previously Thursday-Sunday)

Everything else is the same. We're just starting and ending one day earlier, so we can wrap up before Easter Sunday.

That's the short version! Please register now if you've been thinking about it but have been concerned about missing the holiday.

If you want more context behind this change, read on. I always want you to know how we make important decisions.

Why These Dates in the First Place

In Austin, springtime revolves around South by Southwest. SXSW affects venue availability, hotel rates, vendor schedules, event planners, and most of the city's event ecosystem. We work hard to stay clear of this timing so NeuroDiversion stays affordable.

We already price tickets at a subsidized rate—we don't profit from ticket sales—so avoiding SXSW-inflated costs matters a lot.

For 2027, that left one weekend that worked: March 25–28. And of course, that weekend ends on Easter Sunday.

Why We Changed It

Holidays are tricky. Some people observe them and some don't. Some people prefer an event landing on a holiday weekend because it means one less day off work. The bottom line is: no date works perfectly for everyone.

Still, we heard from a number of you that even a small shift would make it possible for many more people to be part of next year's event. So we got on the phone with our venue partners, our production team, and everyone else involved. The great news: everyone was on board. 🙏 🙏 🙏

Oh, and discount hotel booking codes are almost ready too. We'll send them to registered attendees within the next week. Booking with our partner hotels can save you an additional 20% on lodging, and the rooms go first-come, first-served—one more reason to register now.
